The ministries that are in the building where the fire broke out

The fire has been burning for almost six hours at the Secretariat's 7th building. Members of all security forces, along with the Fire Service, have been deployed to control the blaze, but the fire is still not under control.

The flames are raging from one end of the 7th building to the other, and the heat is noticeable even from outside. It is believed that many important documents of the ministries housed in the building have already been burned.

Sources have confirmed that the building where the fire broke out housed the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Talking to Fire Service personnel, it has been revealed that they still do not have a clear idea of how the fire started. They mentioned that if it had spread due to an electrical short circuit, such a severe situation would not have occurred.

It is also speculated that the interior design of the building, which was done for aesthetic purposes, might have contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.

The Secretariat is considered one of the safest places in Bangladesh, with strict security measures in place 24/7. There are numerous cameras for surveillance inside the Secretariat, and it is believed that the fire might have spread from one of these sources.

From the outside, the public observed flames coming from both sides of the building, with the middle portion remaining completely safe, which has led many to believe the fire could have been planned.

Many people suspect that the fire was deliberately set. The public is pointing out that the Secretariat is always under tight security, with no access allowed to the general public. So, how could a planned fire occur here? The general public is urging the government to investigate this matter thoroughly.
